En un moment clau per a la història d’Europa com va ser el segle XVIII, diverses dones van governar als estats més importants de l’època. Catalina la Gran de Rússia o Maria Teresa d’Àustria van impulsar importants reformes que van consolidar aquests estats com autèntiques potències. Altres, com Isabel de Farnesio també van influir des de l’ombra en les polítiques dels seus regnes. El 19 de febrer repassarem el paper d’aquestes dones en l’època d’esplendor de l’absolutisme monàrquic europeu.
