Nietzsche acuña el enigmático término homo natura para plasmar su concepción del ser humano como una criatura de la naturaleza y para encomendar a la filosofía la tarea de renaturalizar la humanidad. Siguiendo la crítica de Foucault a las ciencias humanas, este libro analiza la recepción del naturalismo de Nietzsche en la antropología filosófica, el psicoanálisis y los estudios de género. De este modo, Vanessa Lemm ofrece una lectura original del homo natura nietzscheano que recupera las ideas de la antigüedad griega acerca de la naturaleza y la sexualidad como caos creativo, y de la vida filosófica como verdad abierta y encarnada.
