Els personatges de l'obra (els pares, el mestre, l'amic i l'amiga, entre altres), colpits per la mort, evoquen el noi amb paraules commovedores, que l'apropen a la ment de l'espectador. Francesc Vallverdú ha dit: ?L'obra de Jordi Pàmias és sobretot un poema dramàtic, un cant polifònic en què s'expressa reiteradament tota l'emoció dels personatges davant la mort d'un ésser estimat.?
