La competencia y el rigor del trabajo de ambos lingüistas explican el hecho de que, hasta el día de hoy, su diccionario constituya una obra de consulta básica para traductores, intérpretes, hispanistas, germanistas o estudiosos de las lenguas alemana y española en general.
