Aires purs de muntanya, amb la farina blanca de la neu i amb la neu de forment de la farina mòlta. Vora el riu, al terrer del Ripollès, fou sembrada la llavor d'on esclatà l'espiga, un reboll d'infantesa resplendent, que trescà per les serres, admirada de veure tant de verd omplint-li l'esguard. L'espiga, l'infant, va esdevenir farina de bon pa, que la mola del temps ha servat fèrtil, amb les virtuts suaus de la tendresa i amb aquell tremp valent de l'art més bell: la poesia."
