Com una màscara informe que tapa el rostre que encara no ha vist mai ningú. Pebre es va treure descuidadament les sandàlies i va seure, deixant que els peus li pengessin nus sobre el precipici. Va tenir la sensació que els talons se li humitejaven immediatament, com si de veritat els hagués submergit dins de la boira tèbia i lila que s'amuntegava en l'ombra sota el penyal.
