Per a cada espècie s?indica el nom científic, els noms comuns als diferents territoris, l?estatus als Països Catalans, els territoris on ha estat observada, les citacions completes de les rareses i quines son les subespècies presents. El llibre inclou també una llista patró separant les espècies autòctones de la resta.
