Blanquerna és actualment una fundació de la diòcesi de Barcelona que integra tres facultats universitàries. Aquest treball estudia l’evolució històrica de Blanquerna i les seves aportacions a la pedagogia universitària. Recull les diferents etapes que va viure la institució d’acord amb cada moment social, educatiu, eclesiàstic i universitari que són molt diferenciats. S’estudia com en cada època es van afrontar els reptes del moment i se’n presenten els diversos actors i principals realitzacions. El resultat ha estat l’evolució d’una institució molt singular en la seva pedagogia universitària, institució que ha complert 70 anys.
