S’estimava el seu marit, se’n preocupava. Fins que un vespre el va lligar a una cadira i li va disparar cinc trets. L’Alicia no va tornar a parlar mai més. Sis anys més tard, en Theo Faber aconsegueix una plaça a The Grove, una unitat forense protegida del nord de Londres.
