Som a l’Àlger dels anys vuitanta i principis dels noranta. Cada divendres, l’Aziz va a casa l’àvia a menjar cuscús, on s’hi reuneix tota la família. La trobada és el fil conductor de la vida d’un infant, fill de mare catalana i pare algerià, que passa els dies amb una amic i una amiga, tots tres inseparables, jugant al barri de Ben Omar. Un divendres, però, l’Aziz prendrà el darrer cuscús amb la seva àvia. Per què?
