I ho fa amb ràbia i amb tendresa, que de vegades són la mateixa cosa: «Hi ha molta llum en el fet d’apagar un foc». En paraules del jurat, el poemari destaca «per la potència emocional que transmet un tema com l’avortament, que encara és polèmic en alguns contextos, amb un to íntim, lúcid i honest, gens afectat», i també «per les referències pop que donen singularitat al text».
