Aquesta és la història del que va passar a bord del submergible, un espai atapeït, ple d’esperança i solidaritat, de baralles i d’àpats reconfortants. Comandant és també un crit atemporal d’indignació contra la barbàrie de tot conflicte bèl·lic, i la reivindicació de qui està disposat a fer prevaldre, malgrat tot, els valors humanitaris.
