Lo que tenía que ser una obra de reconocimiento de la fotografía de Ginés Cuesta Ortiz (Barcelona 1945 2023) se ha convertido, desgraciadamente, en un libro póstumo. Ginés Cuesta falleció el 16 de mayo de 2023. El libro, fruto de la selección de sus fotografías depositadas en el Archivo Histórico de Roquetes-Nou Barris y de las conversaciones que mantuvo la historiadora Isabel Segura con el fotógrafo, recoge la belleza cotidiana de la gente y los espacios del barrio del Verdun, así como sus itinerarios vitales por la ciudad de Barcelona que lo llevaron de la montaña de Collserola hasta el mar, a través de La Rambla.
