En línea con las poéticas de tradición clásica y compartiendo el asombro que muestra la palabra bíblica, "Lo que busca la abeja" constituye el intento de situarse en desnudez ante las criaturas —el ave, la flor, el agua de la lluvia— y, sobre todo, de explorar con humildad y contención la misteriosa hechura del ser humano, en cuyo fondo —ahí radica la confianza profunda del poeta— habita la bondad.
