Els partits polítics estan en dubte. Cal que ens preguntem si el govern de les societats es pot fer d?una altra manera? Potser mereix una reflexió. Noti sud la suppression générale des partis politiques es va escriure l?any 1943, al final mateix de la tràgica i curta vida de Simone Weil. Es trobava a Londres, on s?havia unit als Francesos Lliures al voltant del general De Gaulle. Aquest assaig va ser publicat per primera vegada set anys després, al diari mensual La Table Ronde (núm. 26, febrer de 1950). El text va ser immediatament lloat per André Breton. Tornaria a ser publicat en forma de llibre per Gallimard (1950) i més recentment (2008) per Climats-Flammarion, en una edició que inclou l?article de Breton. Ara, per primera vegada, veu la llum en català un text imprescindible per a fonamentar una reflexió sobre la governança dels futurs possibles.
