El centenari de Josep Vallverdú està servint d'excusa per endreçar la seva obra i per començar a fer balanç de quina ha estat l'aportació literària de l'autor. Si bé l'autor ha excel·lit en dos camps (el de la narrativa juvenil i la literatura del jo), tot sembla indicar que Josep Vallverdú serà recordat, encara més, com a poeta. Aragalls és el darrer i definitiu llibre de poesia i permet, ara sí, completar la Biblioteca Poètica Josep Vallverdú, amb què pagès Editors s'ha sumat a l'Any Vallverdú. Els llibres que la conformen són De signe cranc (2009), Argila (2014), Ronda de boires (2016), A ull nu (2018), Pa de forment (2020), Atresorat silenci (2022) i Aragalls (2023).
