Retomando la tradición centenaria de la lectura Dantis —cuyo iniciador fue el mismísimo Boccaccio—, este libro reúne las conferencias que nueve especialistas en Dante Alighieri impartieron a lo largo de 2021 en diferentes espacios culturales de Madrid, donde ocurrió algo sin precedentes en el dantismo internacional: el proyecto «Madrid città dantesca», impulsado por la Asociación Complutense de Dantología, el Círculo de Bellas Artes y el Instituto Italiano di Cultura, a propósito de la celebración del séptimo centenario de la muerte del Sommo poeta.
