Narrada en primera persona, la autora construye una biografía a partir de la recreación de determinados recuerdos y experiencias que, sin tener claro por qué, han quedado impregnadas en su memoria y de las que siente la necesidad de hablar en voz alta, como su viaje a la India o su relación con Hugo.
