El Palau Robert acull entre el 19 de Maig i el 25 de setembre de 2022 l’exposició «Revolució VilaWeb». L’exposició explica el valor que ha tingut VilaWeb per al periodisme i la societat, des de la perspectiva de vint-i-set anys de trajectòria, fet que el situa entre els diaris digitals més antics del món i com el pioner als Països Catalans. La revolució d’internet és tecnològica però ha esdevingut social i té unes implicacions molt fortes en la política i els mitjans. Al llarg d’aquest quart de segle VilaWeb ha sabut construir un model fortament participatiu amb els lectors i ha posat dempeus un model econòmic sostenible basat en el suport de més de 22.000 subscriptors voluntaris. Aquest llibre neix de l’exposició i incorpora un extens assaig que repassa la trajectòria del diari i reflexiona sobre com VilaWeb ha incidit en els mitjans, obrint camí sempre, i en la societat.
