Andrea es una joven treintañera porteña, educada sentimentalmente en los años noventa que, debido a la grave enfermedad de su padre, se queda a «vivir» con él en el hospital para cuidarlo en plena Navidad. Entre partes médicos y reuniones familiares en la habitación, Andrea conoce a Rosa, una enfermera por la cual se siente atraída de inmediato y, posteriormente, a Iván, exnovio de Rosa, con el que sí que tiene un encuentro sexual. Con un temperamento experimental, Andrea indaga sobre su ambigua identidad sexual, el deseo y las relaciones de pareja mientras sufre la pérdida de su padre.
