Dedicó una buena parte de sus trabajos a la música, en la línea de la tradición de la Grecia antigua. Esta edición, con una magnífica introducción del musicólogo Luis Robledo, presenta la traducción de los textos dedicados a la música del propio Fludd y su visión paradigmática de la armonía universal. Un trabajo trascendente, que ha servido para posteriores investigaciones, publicado por la ya extinta Editora Nacional en 1979 y ahora recuperado en Biblioteca Nueva.
