Al mismo tiempo, Felicia, su mujer, recibe una inesperada propuesta: Ismael conservara´ su cama y seguira´ siendo atendido si ella memoriza un texto. Parece una tarea sencilla, sin embargo, di´a a di´a Felicia percibira´ que, conforme haga suyas las palabras de ese texto, que no sabe quie´n escribio´, algo dentro de ella -en sus suen~os, en su memoria, en su imaginacio´n; tambie´n en su cuerpo y en su voluntad- se ira´ transformando.
