El follet vol salvar la Sara i, juntament amb l'Arnau, el seu amic, emprèn aquesta aventura, que, gràcies a la seva valentia i als consells d'un savi ancià, aconsegueix resoldre satisfactòriament. Un cop alliberada la Sara, els habitants del poble donen una gran benvinguda als seus herois. I, en arribar la nit, organitzen una festa ben grossa per celebrar que tot ha anat bé.
