El libro rastrea las distintas historias de la arquitectura moderna para definir el periodo fundacional de los maestros y las vanguardias, y comprender la difusión del Movimiento Moderno con sus críticas y contradicciones. Un segundo bloque nos permite hablar de la arquitectura actual y confrontar los problemas de la ciudad contemporánea, evitando el lenguaje del especialista. Con este fin, se formulan cinco preguntas sobre el rol actual de la arquitectura y se proponen hasta diez distintas “estrategias proyectuales”. Finalmente, se abordan los retos que la arquitectura puede resolver en un proceso de fuerte mutación digital que apunta hacia una sociedad más sostenible.
