Es uno de los que presentan en mayor grado el carácter fragmentario y a veces aparentemente inconexo. Frente a este aparente desorden del texto pueden adoptarse varias posturas. La supuesta falta de coherencia puede explicarse diciendo que, por ser en general las obras esotéricas algo así como cuadernos de notas para uso preivado del autor, éste sólo anotó lo que parecía conveniente o necesario: la conexión completa, la establecería en cada caso al desarrollar, de viva voz o por escrito, estos apuntes previos.
