Gràcies als autors del llibre, a Jalisco hi han anat dos presidents de la Generalitat, un conseller en cap, un vicepresident, uns quants consellers, una colla de diputats i rectors i exrectors universitaris, juntament amb molts investigadors i professors, artistes i músics. S’han aconseguit acords amb universitats catalanes i promogut estudis catalans a Jalisco. Del seu neguit constant n’han sorgit desenes de llibres d’autors diversos, conferències, articles a la premsa, jornades i col·loquis i, sobretot, dues iniciatives transcendentals: la presència de la cultura catalana a la Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadalajara (2004) i la inauguració de la Biblioteca Catalana, a l’interior de l’espectacular edifici de la moderna biblioteca pública de l’estat, amb més de quinze mil volums.
