La Lily i el seus tres amics han quedat atrapats entre les urpes del cruel Corqui. Sense resistència de cap tipus, el totpoderós Corqui pot dur a terme els seus pèrfids plans que, a part de fer-se construir una enorme escultura en homenatge a si mateix, també inclouen esclavitzar la humanitat i obligar-la a esborrar de la faç de la Terra els edificis, les carreteres i les ciutats. L?únic problema és que els humans no van suficientment ràpid, són una mica fluixos i es queixen constantment, per la qual cosa les obres no avancen. El Corqui decideix crear una raça millorada de mig homes i mig insectes gràcies a la màquina de l?avi de la Lily. Tot i que el futur sembla molt fosc, una sobtada esperança neix en aquest nou món, que mai més s?assemblarà al d?abans.
