Aquesta obra és una tria de poemes, feta pel mateix Ramón Andrés, dels dos darrers llibres de poesia que ha publicat, _Siempre génesis_ (2016) i _Los árboles que nos quedan_ (2020). L'autor ha volgut que aquests poemes fossin traduïts al català i que formessin part de la nostra cultura a través d'aquesta traducció que signa la professora Lola Josa. La poesia darrera de Ramón Andrés és molt a prop d'una natura que es manifesta implacable i dura, de vegades violenta, i és l'indret on el poeta ha retrobat el seu «lloc» i la seva memòria a través del lloc. És aquí on el poeta pot expressar la seva reflexió filosòfica amb un llenguatge que es vol dur, auster, precís.
