Así, algunas de sus series han sido realizadas en el exilio al que le forzó el gobierno chavista, y la más reciente retrata la decadencia de Caracas, la que fue una de las urbes más importantes de Latinoamérica. Su pasión por la cultura le ha llevado a retratar durante 40 años a escritores y artistas, sin dejar de profundizar en el perfil más experimentador de su obra, donde conjura el pasado y la muerte desde una experiencia íntima y cercana.
