Desde hace ya varios lustros se desarrolla un significativo debate sobre los partidos políticos tanto en la historiografía europea como latinoamericana. Este dosier efectúa un recorrido por las formas que aquellos adoptaron en Argentina desde su organización en el mundo de los notables hasta las transformaciones impuestas a sus estrategias organizativas y sus prácticas por las sociedades de masas. Para ello, los trabajos aquí reunidos exploran una serie de experiencias provinciales argentinas, en recurrente diálogo con la escena nacional, lo que potencia y renueva las miradas sobre la dinámica política contemporánea.
