Agustí Pons (Barcelona, 1947) és història viva del periodisme català. Creador del Suplement literari del Noticiero Universal, redactor de Destino i un referent per a molts professionals durant dècades al diari Avui. Actualment dirigeix la Revista de Catalunya. Ha escrit poesia, llibres de memòries i assajos sobre qüestions de política i cultura europea, com ara 1914-2014: Per entendre l’Europa del segle XX i Zuric, 1917: Lenin, Joyce, Tzara.
