La Lia puja al tren en direcció a Quintaforca. I no hi va gens contenta. Els pares l'envien a casa de la tia Flàvia, a muntanya, per passar-hi les vacances. Però tot i malhumorada es fixa en una cosa estranya: el rètol de l'estació està mig esborrat. Segurament el deuen estar reparant... I al vagó viatja un personatge molt estrany que sembla ben bé un dolent de les pel·lícules. Potser el trajecte no serà del tot avorrit ni tan tranquil com la Lia es pensava. Tot comença quan a la següent estació el rètol apareix completament blanc.
