Todos tenemos presente la imagen del flâneur recorriendo las calles de París del siglo XIX. Pero, ¿y las flâneuses? Ellas también existieron, aunque fueran invisibilizadas o menospreciadas. Su voluntad de hacerse presentes en el espacio urbano y reclamar una voz propia abrió paso a una serie de derechos que aún hoy necesitamos reivindicar: derecho a ocupar las calles; derecho a mirar sin ser vistas; derecho a no consumir ni ser consumidas; derecho a existir en solitario; derecho a la autoría. Este repaso por la historia de las flâneuses, que incluye a nutrido grupo de escritoras y activistas, es de plena vigencia hoy.
