Manfred Gnädinger llegó a Camelle en 1961; tenía 25 años. Junto al mar y a lo largo de cuatro décadas, construyó su jardín-museo ensamblando piedras y huesos, reutilizando los restos que depositaba la marea, moldeando la naturaleza e incluso experimentando una transformación personal que forjó su icónica figura de solitario anacoreta. Este libro de Carmen Hermo -artífice del proyecto MAN (Mar, Arte y Naturaleza) y comisaria de la exposición permanente en la Casa del Alemán- es un homenaje a ese hombre culto, auténtico y vital, a su singular legado artístico.
