En un alè tan breu és el primer poemari del professor de filosofia i periodista Miquel Ripoll. Es tracta de devuit poemes que dialoguen, des del món actual, amb els devuit proverbis que Joan Alcover va incloure en la primera edició del seu llibre Poemes bíblics (1918). Un diàleg que reivindica el llegat alcoverià i la capacitat intertextual que conserva, ben viva, la tradició cultural de la llengua catalana. Amb paraules de Pere Rosselló Bover, teniu entre les mans una obra que «malgrat la brevetat, destaca per la fondària i per la riquesa de les lliçons que conté».
