El jaciment arqueològic Culip IV són les restes d'un vaixell enfonsat entre els anys 78 i 82 d.C., quan transportava un carregament heterogeni format per vasos de parets fines, oli de la Bètica, llànties, i més de 2.700 vasos de terra sigil ·lada de la Graufesenque, al sud de França, objecte de l'estudi d'aquest volum. La monografia ens mostra, doncs, l'organització del comerç marítim al segle I d. C. i constitueix un document per conèixer l'organització del treball al centre d e producció de la Graufesenque.
