El Cuidador fa meravelles amb la seva Agulla Guaridora, però s’apropa el moment de la seva jubilació i necessita passar el relleu al seu fill Noc. Al cap i a la fi, és una feina que es transmet de pares a fills. Sempre ha estat així. El problema és que en Noc tem els insectes i a més a més l’Agulla no sembla respondre davant la seva inseguretat. Per contra, la seva germana gran, la Lulu, estaria encantada de continuar amb la tradició.
