Aquest llibre pretén mostrar la singular i gegantina figura que va ser mossèn Pere Oliveras Lapostolet (Barcelona 1923-2007). Al barri de Sants, en la dècada dels cinquanta ja va posar en marxa la Llar de Maria, on s02019;acollia i es procurava aixecar les persones necessitades (sense recursos, drogoaddictes, presos...). També va contribuir decisivament a introduir la Joventut Obrera Cristiana (JOC) i els Cursets de Cristiandat a Barcelona. Sempre va tenir a l02019;horitzó la viva comunitat cristiana, amb una autèntica passió per fer arribar la fe als que n02019;estaven més allunyats.
