Javier Pérez Barricarte nació el 31 de enero de 1984 en Pamplona y creció en La Rioja. Ha escrito obras teatrales entre las que destaca la coautoría de El árbol de Diana (2008) y ha sido documentalista para RTVE (Viaje al interior de la cultura, 2013). Se licenció en Filología Hispánica en Salamanca y en la Universidad Complutense defendió su tesis doctoral sobre poesía latinoamericana contemporánea. Le gusta idear juegos de mesa. Actualmente en Madrid da clases de filosofía de la India y China. Quizá nos baste la tierra es su primer libro de poemas.
