Encetem, amb aquest Recerca en Humanitats 2017, una sèrie de volums que recolliran, any rere any, els treballs presentats a les Jornades del Doctorand que convoquem cada curs, dins del marc del Programa de Doctorat d'Estudis Humanístics de la Universitat Rovira i Virgili. En aquesta ocasió us oferim tretze articles que són fruit, precisament, de la II Jornada del Doctorand que es va dur a terme el curs 2015-16. Aquesta publicació ens permet apropar-nos a les diverses tesis que s'estan duent a terme en aquest període dins del Programa, relacionades amb la història, la història de l'art o l'adquisició i l'ensenyament de les llengües. Són, en definitiva, una mostra de com n'és de viva i fonamental la investigació en aquests àmbits a la nostra universitat.
