Luis García Montero se ha encerrado consigo mismo para buscar con su poesía las raíces de un tiempo de crisis, en el que las estrategias económicas empobrecen a las mayorías y las dinámicas sociales descomponen el sueño democrático y el valor de los derechos humanos. Una poesía seca, descarnada, indagatoria, persigue en la propia intimidad la ilusión desesperada de que el amor y el acuerdo estén también en nosotros.
