No en va, tant per a Rafael Tasis (Barcelona, 1906-1966) com per a Ramon Xuriguera (Menàrguens, 1901-Bergerac, 1966), política i cultura, sempre des d'una òptica d'esquerres i catalanista, eren les dues cares de la mateixa moneda.
