Una cortesana en l'egipte dels faraons EL cor de Radubis, la cortesana més bella i astuta d'Egipte, roman fred tot i les atencions d'un nombrós grup de pretendents que admiren el seu saber fer en l'art de la conversa, el cant i el ball. En l'escenari de l'alta política de la sisena dinastia egípcia naixerà, però, un pode-rós amor entre Radubis i l'enèrgic faraó Menre Ra II, el qual és venerat com una presència divina a la Terra.
