Aquest accident permetrà al jove Ben conèixer Nicolau Bonjan, Pare Noel de professió, el qual li revela que el persegueix el Gran Consell del Nadal, un organisme dirigit per un Pare Noel dolent que està destruint tots els Pares Noel tradicionals. Però a Nicolau el preocupen ben poc aquestes minúcies.
