En llegir el missatge, la xinesa enceta un plor silenciós. Sembla que ha reconegut en aquell text alguna cosa que l'afecta directament. La jove del vestit baixa del vagó perseguida per l'altra dona, i el protagonista les perd de vista en el moment que estableixen contacte.
