Quatre joves de la resistència durant la II Guerra Mundial
En plena Segona Guerra Mundial, els pobles del Pirineu català estan sotmesos al control social dels nazis i dels seus col·laboracionistes, amb l'oposició del grup del maquis, que lluita i s'amaga a les muntanyes. En aquest tràgic context, quatre joves s'incorporen a la resistència per a lluitar contra els feixistes arran de l'afusellament del familiar d'un d'ells. En poques setmanes els joves abandonaran el seu món d'infantesa per a descobrir el conflicte que els ha tocat patir. Les accions dels maquisards i la pressió dels exèrcits aliats després del desembarcament de Normandia marcaran el ritme de la lluita contra el feixisme en aquella zona, amb episodis ben significatius que convertiran el Canigó en el darrer baluard de la resistència al nazisme.
