Sota la concepció de la literatura com una de les fonts del coneixement humà, i des de la defensa aferrissada del vici mateix d'es-criure, l'autor assaja, en aquest dietari, maneres d'acostament a la realitat, possibilitats d'arrecerar un problema sota l'embol-call dels conceptes, formes de contar els fets que vivim i ens importen? Tot un conjunt d'anotacions que, vistes globalment, són com senyals d'un pensament en construcció. Amb tot, tres fils conductors recorren el conjunt: la veritat literària, el record personal i la quotidianitat. El primer com a problema; el segon, sobretot, com a necessitat; i el tercer, com a compromís amb la societat que ens ha tocat viure.
