Només 100 metres. Podríem mirar enrere i veure tots els quilòmetres recorreguts, la llarga travessa del desert. Només 18 mesos. Podríem mirar enrere i veure tots els anys passats, totes les lluites perdudes. Però ara que Catalunya té una majoria social independentista, ara que els vents són favorables, només ens cal mirar endavant. Per culminar el procés s'han de produir totes les condicions d'una tempesta política perfecta -democràtica, pacífica, fidel a les institucions catalanes-, tot i que en realitat els requisits es resumeixen en dos: tot depèn de nosaltres i tindrem només allò que aconseguim guanyar-nos. Ho podem fer i ho podem fer bé. Tenim el mandat democràtic per fer-ho en divuit mesos. Hem passat del dret a decidir al deure d'autodeterminar-nos. «I els 100 metres finals que ens falten per recórrer tenen ara un nou sentit, amb la mort de Muriel Casals.
