Juan Antonio Bernier nace en Córdoba, España, en 1976. Como poeta es autor de Así procede el pájaro (Pre-Textos, 2004; Premio Ojo Crítico de Poesía en 2005) y Árboles con tronco pintado de blanco (Pre-Textos, 2011). Entre 2004 y 2011 fue codirector literario del encuentro internacional Cosmopoética, poetas del mundo en Córdoba (Premio Nacional al Fomento de la Lectura en 2009). Ha sido lector de español en la Universidad de Sofía. Desde 2016, trabaja como gerente de la Fundación Provincial de Artes Plásticas Rafael Botí.
