La versió catalana de Xavier Bru de Sala va rebre elpremi Nacional de Teatre Josep M. de Sagarra i l'any 1985 va serinterpretada amb un èxit esclatant per Josep M. Flotats. Fins al 2012 nohavia tornat als escenaris, aquest cop de la mà del director OriolBroggi.
